Nokia was one of the largest manufactured company of the world but after some time it remained stick to the Symbian and MeeGo operating system and after that Nokia’s device and its services was sold to Microsoft and then Microsoft sold it to Foxconn and it has promised that new Nokia smartphones will be coming in future and they will be powered by Android.
As Nokia wants to make comeback in the smartphones industry by introducing its new smartphones which are said to be Android based phones. People are waiting for Nokia to unveil its new smartphone and GFX Bench recently spotted DIC device on the company’s website and people were expecting it to a smartphone but unfortunately, it turned out to be a tablet with its huge 13.8 –inch screen.
Earlier, the specifications of Nokia DIC were leaked by GeekBench and at that time they didn’t provide the information regarding the size of the screen of the device. However, now the Geekbench clarifies the screen size and other specifications. And according to the Geekbench, it is suggested that it has 13.8-inch full-HD having the resolution of 1080×1920 pixels) and it is further powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor which is coupled with 3GB of RM. There is also a possibility that it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
It also expected to have inbuilt storage of 16 GB. It also has 16-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera .As per this information, Nokia D1C will be the second Android tablet by the company as they have already launched its first one which is N1.
This May, Nokia also signed a deal with Finnish Firm HMD Global and according to which Nokia will make Nokia-branded Android smartphones and tablets for next 10 years. After there were rumors like Nokia will be coming out with two phones, one having screen of 5.2 –inch and another with 5,5 inch. These phones will sport 2K resolution (QHD) display and will come with IP^* certification. They will be highly resistant to water and dust. It also has SIM card support along with support for the sensor like a pedometer.
