So here’ s the educational technology company ConveGenius took an interesting step to make educational system more enjoyable by launching a learning device ‘CG Slate’ in collaboration with global PC and smartphone maker Lenovo on Tuesday.
This tablet will cost you Rs. 8, 499 and in this device, children can learn through videos, interactive books, stories and worksheets. This is so factual the more we watch/see the more we learn. Movies are the best example of this, one side if you hand over a book to children, they will find that particular book quite boring but if you make them watch some movie or cartoon they remember the all whole story with the names of characters.
In Delhi, reporters told, Mr. Jairaj Bhattacharya (Managing Director, ConverGenius Group) has kept his words, “We envision ‘CG Slate’ to be every child’s best friend for learning, entertainment and shopping. In this endeavour, we have partnered with Lenovo and e-tailer Flipkart to ensure a seamless user and purchase experience, respectively,”
According to NCERT, CG Slate will help children to gain more education and will keep them focused. Basically this style of learning creates a motivational environment.
Director Marketing of Lenovo, Bhaskar Choudhuri also added his words, “Tablet technology has been a game-changer for education since it allows young learners to leverage a touch-screen interface to access a wide variety of digital resources.”
Specifications of CG Slate are goes like this, it features 7 inch display with resolution of 1024×600 pixel. Good battery life (3450mAh) with 2 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera.
